I’m on Standard rate pip for both. My question is can I also claim carers allowance for my husband who now takes seizures?
My husband helps me shower and dresses me. I neeed to attend to my husband in the house when he takes seizures? He receives higher rate Attendance.

There's no reason why you should not claim the CA, based on your description of the support you provide your husband it would not be at odds with your own PIP claim, however, I would put your information into one of the online benefit calculators first, I am wondering whether you can receive Pension Credit, if you are then you may actually receive more money by not claiming the CA as you would be entitled to the couples rate of the Severe Disability Premium which is about £120 a week.
