pip and carers was created by fuzzy bob
w,onder if you can advise . my partner is my carer and he has mental health problems and artery decease and bad problems even walking 30 metres i dont know if he can claim pip because he does all my care needs but suffers severe axiety and mobility problems could you advise thank you

Yes there is no reason why he can't- also if he is claiming Carer Allowance for you, you can both claim CA for each other and/or carer's credit if he is successful

Not every carer can get this benefit. You may be eligible for Carer's Allowance if you meet all the following conditions:

you look after someone who gets a qualifying disability benefit
you look after that person for at least 35 hours a week
you are aged 16 or over
you are not in full-time education
you don’t earn over £120 a week (after deductions)
you satisfy UK presence and residence conditions
Note: If you meet the above conditions but already receive certain benefits (including a State Pension), then the amount of Carer’s Allowance you may be entitled to could be affected.

i wouldnt want to claim carers allowance am to ill to do anything.just wanted to know if he can claim pip as he hasnt and even his doc thought he had been .thanks
