Is it usual for the DWP to respond to a PIP appeal ? I have received a text to say they haVE UNTIL a certain date to do it ..............what happens if they dont resapond on time ??
The DWP always respond to a request for an appeal, they will make a submission that will include their reasons for the Decision being appealed and all of the documents used in the making of the Decision.
It would be rare for them not to respond by the required time but if they don't then the Judge responsible for your appeal will write to them requiring them to respond, usually within a couple of weeks.
