PIP APPEAL FAILED: WOULD THIS COUNT AGAINST NEW CL

I applied for PIP couple of yrs ago & was awarded 6 points. I appealed & lost the appeal. Can I make a new claim for PIP & if so, would previous denied claim count against me? Also my ESA is due for re-assessment anytime from now. If I lose at next assessment, would any PIP award be stopped? Many thanks for reply.

You can make a new claim immediately, there is no waiting time, it will be from scratch and there will be no reference to your failed claim.

The criteria for ESA and PIP are sufficiently different that I would not expect a failed claim for one to have any impact on the other.

Ther have been updates to our PIP Claim guide since you last claimed so make sure you the current version.
