ESA letter 13th Feb 2019 was created by Raquel
Hello, just some advice please. I currently get ESA support group and pip. I've had two assessments for pip. This runs out 2021. One assessment for esa. I've been claiming both since 2014. I filled in my ESA50 form 17mths ago. Had two assessments booked in a centre which was cancelled. Third time I cancelled because doctor had wrote a letter for a home visit. That was excepted and a home visit was booked for 5mths later. I was unwell and cancelled this appointment.bthey told me I can't cancel again. That was 8mths ago. Today I received a letter. Your claim for esa changes in social security benefits. A break down of the money I receive. Which is still the same. If u think the decision is wrong contact in writing within one month. Would this be a standard letter. Or have I been deferred all this time no end date on the letter. I don't want to contact them and rock the boat. Any advice please thank you.

If it refers to changes in your payments from April then it likely to be the annual ESA Entitlement Letter.

Some ESA claimants have waited this long for an assessment but it is also possible that a Decision was made without the need for a face to face assessment.
The only way that you will know what is going on is to contact the DWP office dealing with your claim.
