I am 67 years old and I have been in receipt of DLA for approx. 21years,i received a letter this week saying that my DLA was stopping and I had to apply for PIP. Is this correct as I have now got to go and claim PIP and have to go all through face to face assessment and more worry about will I lose my benefit, you would think that because of my age they would just transfer it over.

Our PIP Claim guide has details of the process and explains the criteria that you will need to meet which is very different from that which gave you your DLA award. See
