Question about PIP and ReSPECT Form issued.

I'm almost 67 on state pension and pension credit and my PIP re-assessment will be due in a few weeks, at the moment I am in receipt of Full rate in both components of PIP.

My illness or several of my illnesses are terminal but because they can't say I have six months left they say I don't deserve a DS`1500. even though I can die tomorrow, it makes no sense to me.
Does a issue of the form ReSpect end of life form from my doctors, Matron and Consultants help me with the reclaim of PIP, I have been told I will be one of the first "Soft Touch 10 year claimer", so I don't have a clue what will happen, can you please shed some light on this for me. Regards, Graham.

I would include the ReSpect form but unless it addresses the PIP criteria then it may only have limited value, as you say it is not a DS1500 and it is only this document that can be used for Special Rules claim.

Based on the change in the rules announced last week, any new award should be for an On-Going period followed by a Light Tough assessment although I cannot tell you what this means as the DWP apparently have not even looked at this yet.
