DLA to PIP - new legislation ? was created by GillClark

I have a face to face assessment appointment on 22 July 2019.

I am 67 years of age - will the new rules announced by Amber Rudd apply or will I still have to go to the assessment ?

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

I'm afraid the change, which is not a legislative one, applies to claimants with a PIP award, not to those being transferred to PIP.

I thought it was too good to be true.

Back to reading the Guides so at least I know how the process should be carried out !!
