ESA would I have to go over to UC credits

Hi I’m on IR and IC ESA il be buying an house soon with my partner he’s working full time and earning 42k would I just carry I. With my ESA I know il lose the income related but not the contribution element but would I have to apply for UC or not do I just notify the DWP that we will be living together when it happens

No, there is no need for you to claim UC, in fact, I think your husband's income would prevent you from doing so anyway.

Your ESA(CB) will remain in payment. Be aware that you will lose your access to free prescriptions and dental treatment as well.
