Do the job centre still accept doctors fit notes?
And while appealing a decision are you required to do job searches and sign on?

Forgive me but I a little confused when you last posted it was about a PIP MR, are you also challenging an ESA Decision?
If it is PIP then Fit Notes and job searches are not appliable.

Sorry Gordon.. I was asking for my cousin who is on UC.
After being on benefit he had a new assessment and Capita found him fit despite passing a previous assessment.
His Mandatory Reconsideration was rejected, Now he is going to the appeal tribunal.
But he received a letter telling him to come for job search interview.
He is 65 years old and has 3 months till his OAP.
He has Diabetes and Arthritis.

It they are able to attend then they should, it's likely that the advisor is not aware of how close they are to retirement.
