my wife attended dla to pip assessment in wheelchair. She has mobility problems all explained in pip form. Not seen or asked to walk but awarded can walk 50mtrs but no more than 200mtrs.How can the hp decide this as in form was stated no more than 20mtrs and this was not contradicted at assessment and not even spoke about.
Either their opinion is not based on the evidence available or the arguments you put forward on the claim form were not convincing.
Does she do anything that contradicts her limited walking? Does she go shopping without using the chair? Does she have problems moving around the house? Are her conditions ones where her walking would be expected to be limited?
