Hi i am in the process of filling in my sons PIP form. he is 16 and changing from DLA. I am his appointee. He has learning difficulties, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and brain injury. How do I fill the form out wording it through his eyes like ( I have problems cutting food ) or do i write it as his mam ( Daniel has issues with cutting his food because )

Thank you

Hi I. Chaytor

It is entirely your choice whether you choose to say 'I cannot prepare food' or 'he cannot prepare food,' and there is no right or wrong answer.

Personally, when I fill in forms for other people I always say he or she cannot prepare food as I want to also make it clear they do not have the capacity to fill the forms themselves.
