Hi I have reasontly got my medication put in blister packs. Asked my docs for this as sometimes I was forgetting to take them or taking to much, due to low mood,depresssion etc. Would I get any points for this on the pip form. My wife now gives them to me so there is no mistakes.

You might score a point under Managing Therapies but you will need to explain why you cannot manage this on your own in some detail.
Unfortunately, the one point will not help you to an award unless it is coupled with your being unable to get in or out of a standard bath or shower under Washing and Bathing.

Hi and thanks Gordon. I had my pip assessment 2yrs ago and got 7points for the care bit and 12pionts on mobility. I did not appeal because I was just so happy to get something. However my condition of copd has got worse I got 2pionts for preparing food. I got 3pionts for washing as I have a wet room through the council. For preparing food 2pionts although cant cook safely now .I find it exhausting so don't bother if left alone. Dressing 2pionts.My wife helps me with my socks. and shoes. Since my assessment 2yrs ago as well as stage 4 copd I get panic attacks, anxiety. Also have coughing fits and black out.

Hi Gordon. You mentioned that regarding my medication it needs to be coupled with getting in and out of a bath with my blister pack. Could you please elaborate

Gordon did not mean blister pack coupled with getting in and out of a bath, he was talking about seperate descriptors:
Managing therapy : supervision, prompting 1 point
Washing and bathing: Needs supervision or prompting 2 points
When you talk about blackouts, how frequent are the blackouts, do you still drive?
