Complex PTSD was created by Angie
I know everybody has various issues in their life. I initially joined benefits and work as I have two children both premature who are now in their early 20’s but have disabilities. I have learnt so much from yourselves which I am so thankful for. I have a query about an issue I am having. I have been diagnosed with complex PTSD which related mostly back to my childhood but was triggered by accident I had 3 years ago. I have had operations and now back to work but as phased. Although being diagnosed January this year I have a 10 1/2 month waiting list with the trauma therapy team before I am seen. In the meantime I am struggling and also on a phase return to work so money is tight. Is there any help I can get. Unfortunately authorities look at money/wages that come in i.e your spouse etc and what you earn., but Never is your outgoings taken into consideration. With two young adults with a disability and myself not earning a full wage we are sinking. I have spoken to the normal authorities but they dismiss me and never suggest any help or information. Has anybody got any suggestions for financial help that they are aware of whilst I am trying to get over this difficult time.
I appreciate any feedback and thank for taking the time to read this
