Disabled travel during PIP appeal was created by Gabimac
Hello everyone,
I have just received my first PIP award and have gone from higher rate mobility on DLA to 4 points and therefore no eligibility. I certainly can't walk 50 to 200 metres 'reliably' and there are many days when I'm not able to go out at all, or only as far as the pavement outside where hospital transport is waiting, so I have started the lengthy appeal process. In the meantime can anyone advise do my local authority concessionary bus pass and Disabled Railcard become instantly invalid?

Namaste
I'm sorry but we have no idea, contact the issuing authorities, it may be a local decision.

Thank you! Disabled Railcard isn't local though... You buy that for a year
