Changing to PIP was created by Julie60
Hi,
I am new here. I am 66 and have been claiming dla for sometime. Just waiting on my claim form to change over to pip. I suffer from other health issues since my original claim to dla, will they take this into consideration for pip. I am on high rate for both, so I never needed to let them know. Thanks

Hi Julie

They are interested in your current health so you should include all your medical conditions and make sure that you give a full explanation how these impact your daily living and mobility as set out in the PIP criteria.

Hi Julie

DWP will reassess everyone on DLA whose date of birth is after 01/04/1948, those who were born before this date will stay on DLA if they have an indefinate or life time award.
