I sent in my PIP review in August and received a text message saying they had received it. Today I’ve had a call from a nurse asking me if I’m well enough to attend a face to face assessment; I said no so a paper review is going to be done. Is this the usual procedure?
It is not common for an assessor to ring and ask about whether a claimant is fit to attend an interview, but it does happen (on rare occasions) and they obviously read something in your notes, and decided this was the right action to take. It's good that they did this and gave you the opportunity to make a choice.
