Posting additional evidence or give it to accessor

I have recently sent off my daughters pip2 form which was confirmed as received by PIP. We have moved home recently and somehow some of my daughters most recent medical reports seem to be misplaced. I have requested for copies of these to be sent to me but sent the form ahead as I didn’t want to delay the application. Well I have received some of the requested reports. Should I post them to PIP or give them to the accessor? as the gentleman on the phone who confirmed the arrival of the form says my daughter will be called for a F2F assessment . Thanks ketomum

If you have an address for an Assessment Centre then send them to this, send a copy to the DWP office dealing with your claim, both with a covering letter explaining what they are. Lastly, take a copy to the assessment and ask the assessor to read them before they start the interview.

Thank you Gordon, also I’m I allowed to bring more than one report as I read somewhere that the accessor will only read one piece of additional information. Is that true?

Hi Ketomum

You can take more than one report, but you have to accept the assessors have limited time to carry out the assessments and may only cast a cursory glance over them - if at all.
