If your husband has a New Style ESA claim then he can also claim CA against your PIP award, the CA will not be payable but a second Carers Premium will be payable and the SDPs will be protected.

In round numbers, the SDP is £65/week and the Carers Premium is £35/week so you are looking at an extra £200/week (2 x £65 and 2 x 35).

I would make the CA claims first so that they can be declared when you apply for the SDP, you won't lose out as the SDP is payable from the day that you were eligible irrelevant of when you apply unless you need the extra money urgently, in which case go for the SDP first but you risk it being suspended when you add the CA while the DWP figure out that it is still payable.
