Does the DWP stop payment on receipt of a MR reque

Does the DWP stop payment on receipt of a MR reque was created by ukLee
Once you have the decision if you are unhappy and request an MR do the DWP stop all payments? Or do they continue to pay the rate (if there is one) in the original letter and then back pay any sum if you managed to receive a favourable result with the MR request?

The DWP will continue to pay the rate (if there is one) through to any MR decision and they will backdate if it goes in your favour.

Hi ukLee & BIS
When the DWP sent me a decision (2 points) that I would not be getting PIP they also said when my DLA would stop being paid. In my case, 2 days before the deadline to get in the MR.
