Differences between income and contribution ESA?

Can someone please answer a questionn for me. If ESA contribution and Universal Credit do not include payment from PIP. I have been awarded the full PIP for both mobility and caring. Why if I have been medically retired due to my ill health that this is been included as a pension. Surely is this not a discrimination against someone who has a disability. Why exclude on one and include the other. I am not allowed to work at all due to my ill health retirement.

I've moved your post to its own topic, you replied to a post from more than three years ago!

PIP is not considered as income for ESA or Universal Credit.

From a previous post, you are receiving some sort of ill-health pension, this will be treated as income for both benefits.

For UC it will be consider as Other Income and will be deduced £ for £.

For ESA(CB) there is an £85/week disregard followed by a £1/week deduction for every £2 in excess of the £85.
