Hello, I contacted PIP and informed them I would like a review of my health changes as things have deteriated considerably, since my award in March 2017. I was under the impression that they would just send a review form for this, however when I contacted them they informed me that they sent the PIP1 application, as my award runs out in 2021 and how it was up for renewal, is this correct??. I have several consultant letters outlining and diagnosing fibromyalgia and bulging discs in my spine and neck, also how I have has several lots of treatment and a negative spinal injection, do you think that I will require a face 2 face, or has it be known to be agreed by the decision maker

I'm afraid all reported Changes will result in a new PIP2.

The chances of a face to face are a lot higher for a Change, it doesn't mean that there will be one but I would advise you to expect one.

A comment. You mention lots of medical issues but remember, PIP awards are based on the limitations that result, it may be obvious to you why you can't complete the PIP activities but don't assume that those assessing you will make the same connections.

Hello, I would just like to thank benefits and work site for the useful information I gained, from Standard care I have just been awarded enhanced care and mobility without the need for interview, I sent a lot of consultants evidence in relation to all of my issues. I have been awarded this for only 3 years despite the conditions I have will only get worse due to age etc. I contacted them to ask why this was only for 3 years when I had standard care I had 4 years award and I was informed that this would be due to changes which could take place, Would I be able to ask for a MR for the timescale, without this changing the award , thanks

Many congratulations on the award.

Yes, you can request an MR for the length of the award but I have to warn you that the DWP are not constrained to this one element and can look at the whole claim, that said, it is very unusual for this to happen now.

If your conditions can only get worse and you now have an Enhanced award for both components it is difficult to see what "change" could result in a different award, so I would argue along these lines, it may help if you are able to document the prognosis of your conditions if you do then do it briefly and include reference links to the sources that you use.
