I posted of a new claim for my daughter for dla yesterday. I've just been looking back through at the copies of the form l took and l have filled in question 32 in depth ,explaining all about her impulsive behaviour, that she has huge meltdown , runs away when out, no sense of danger etc. She is awaiting autism diagnosis but l have evidence of these mobility needs.
I then saw that I have left question 34 and 35 blank! I don't know how l made such a stupid mistake. Now I've seen that is where l should have explained about her behavioural problems NOT at question 32.
Will they use the fact I've made this mistake on the form to not award low rate mobility. I have included evidence to back what I'm saying , it's just written in the wrong part!
You would hope that someone would be able to work it out. However, as you only posted it yesterday, why don't you write a letter as an amendment to the form explaining the information is there and send it off now.
