Hi Ron

I'm not sure I understand you. Why are you expecting your ESA to be influenced by your PIP?

my pip was due to end on the 24th march so i was entitled to the 3 month extension. but DWP said i would not get the extension (my mp has written to them)
because my pip ended my ESA was reduced by £60 a week.
if i get my pip backdated or if i am entitled to the extension would i get the ESA backdated?

Hi Ron

Yes, I would expect it to, but I suspect you will have to raise it with them to make sure you get it.
