Having read the new section in the Guide. If DWP require IAS/ Capita to receive a recording at the end of an assessment as they do at F2F [been there done that], why can they not make their own recording while you make yours, if it is a phone assessment, including 3-way calls? Then everything could be out in the open. If you later rely on your recording to dispute with them, they can check theirs; if it comes to it HM Courts & Tribunal Service can play back both. Has anyone asked IAS/ Capita to provide a recording of a telephone assessment to them, the claimant? Thanks.
You can make a recording of the telephone assessment for you own use. Be aware that if the assessor knows your recording - they may stop the assessment. A couple of members have asked if they can record and they were told the assessment would not take place if they did so.
