Hi my husband had a telephone assesment on the 14th of may. The report was with dwp on the 20th of may. He recieved a letter on friday asking him to send passport before claim can progress. Is this because he had phone assesment. Thanks.
I have not heard of that before and it is not because he had a phone assessment, what if he does not have a passport? I would contact DWP to find out why they require a passport, is it a British Passport?

Hi yes British passport. He sent it and they have returned it. With a slip of paper saying they have made a copy for their records. Then on friday a letter saying we have all the information needed. Very strange.
