Looking for a MH Advisor for tribunal was created by Darren Smith
Heya, I am sorry if this is found elsewhere but i could not see it..

I was turned down for Manditory Reconsideration by the DWP for my Pip and want to take to the Tibunal but could really use an Advisor that deals with Mental health cases..

Could anyone please help me find someone, and tell me if it is free or a fixed cost service?

Thank you x

Hi Darren

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

We do not operate a fixed cost service, you could try and google for a welfare rights worker in your area.

We do offer very good guides in our 'Members Only Guides' to help forum members either appeal their decision or help with their mandatory reconsideration, the guides cover those who have either mental health or physical conditions.

If you have any specific questions come back to the forum.

Hi Darren,
Can I suggest the charity Mind as an option to try- I have found them extremely helpful with both my ESA and PIP tribunals. I am lucky to have a branch that specialises in welfare benefits very close by but would have thought they have branches throughout the country that can offer support.
I have been successful at 3 tribunals with their help so would definitely recommend.
Good luck and best wishes
