Pip Award incorrect end date? was created by b7s7dh
Panicking right now. Can't call anyone. Just notice my Pip was reviewed and awarded but ends in 5 months? The award letter was in June 2020 but states it is until Nov 2020. The assessors report says for 2 years. Anyone please help. Is this a mistake? An award for 5 months doesn't seem right.

What was the date of the assessors report? I don't know from what you have written if the award included any backdate or when it was awarded from.
Some claims due to end soon were given an automatic 6 month review due to Covid-19.
Contact the DWP on Monday and ask. I find the best time to contact the DWP is around 10:00 am, but it is hit and miss, don't give up.

The date on the report is 23 May 2020. It was Due to end in March 2020. Now it says its until 2020. The weird thing is the assessors report says it should be for 2 years.

Assessors report 23 May 2020.
Thanks. Was due to End March 2020 on last letter. New award letter shows June 2020 to Nov 2020. I calculated the dates and its 7 months from end of the old award to the end of the new award.

By the sounds of it you got an automatic 6 month review. I would try and contact DWP tomorrow for peace of mind. Try and contact early morning if possible.

They got the dates completely wrong and no-one can explain why I got a 5 month award. It should have been 2 years.
