I undersatnd if PIP is awarded before state pension age then it continues to be paid afterwards.

Long ago I expected to retire at 65 years in November 2020 but this was changed to 66 years.

By what deadline must I appy for PIP to have it continue afterwards into retirement?

Is it the nominal deadline based on when I reach 65 or is it when I officially receive state pension at 66?

Thank you for any advice.

If you do not currently have an award of PIP then you must make a claim before you reach State Retirement Age, once you do you can only apply for Attendance Allowance.
