Occupation Health Check, ESA/DWP question

Hi,

I was on ESA Support group for aggression/violence /depression/anxiety.. (I was also a drug addict and it effected my behavior a lot )

I'm now a lot better and I'll be giving up this benefit soon. I want to study to become a mental health worker for the NHS and I'm afraid that what I said to the ESA people and what I wrote on the ESA application forms will/might appear on an Occupational Health Check..

Do you think it would do? I've been told that they need to access your medical records, but surely this is separate from them.. When I access my medical records the ESA information doesn't even show up on there..

Can anyone let me know what they think about this please?

Are you sure? What makes you so sure? Are they on different systems or something?

As I say, when I access my full medical records, nothing appears to do with ESA /PIP on there.. But will I had aggression/some violence/depression/anxiety appear on an occupational health check?

Also, how do I get the doctors to give me a new assessment and put all of this past problems behind me? I don't have any of the problems that I used to have and I've completely turned my life around now... I'll be ringing the DWP in a few months to get off this benefit and find some employment.

OK Cool. Have you ever heard them asking anyone for access to the DWP records? I mean in any job or setting ? It seems like a strange thing to ask for.. how would they even know if someone was claiming benefits or not??
