DWP Searches For Thousands Of PIP Claimants Owed /

Hi, I just wondered if anyone had actually followed this up with DWP?
I.e wrote to them and said they think they missed out on this entitlement and may be one of the cases the DWP are looking for/
I’ve read the PDF attached to this news article and note it said re writing and too use sample letter , but as a new member, I’m struggling to find sample letters, that I could follow. So if anyone can point me in right direction.

Hi, further to this. I sent the sample letter, as per guide for my partner and now we’ve received a letter as though we’ve asked for a mandatory consideration. Saying we’ve left it too long and they considered it and not proceeding. Which is probably a good job, as we don’t want a mandatory consideration. What do you suggest we do now?
As my partner has become quite ill worrying about it? Thank Jenny

Thanks for this, do you think it is worth writing back and saying that we wasn’t asking for a mandatory consideration, we were just asking them to review it, as they were supposed to be doing?
