PIP was created by Neil3051
My PIP award.... for years i have been awarded enhanced rate for daily living and standard rate for mobility.
My musculoskeletal mobility disabilities and arthritis has slowly gotten worse over the years so like any of us, we do the right thing.
So i informed the DWP of a change of circumstance in my mobility
After having a telephone assessment the DWP decision makers have now REDUCED my daily living to standard rate and taken away completely my mobility award.
Trying to get my Support Network i.e Support Worker, Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy, CMHT & my GP onboard to help me is proving to be extremely difficult.
Obviously the effect this is having on me is very serious, however wanting to say what i mean and actually typing what i mean are two entirely different things altogether.
I have had assistance completing the online CRMR1 form but watch out when you input your D.O.B it automatically changes your input to that days date. I didn't realise this until i had already posted a copy of my CRMR1 form via Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery. So unsure if i should send another copy but with the day tipexed out and D.O.B black penned .
Good luck everyone

Hi N
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
I'm sorry what's happened. You could just ring and alert them about your date of birth, or send them a letter explaining what happened.
Are you going to put in for a Mandatory Reconsideration? If you wish to - you can find details
from the link - Guide to PIP Appeals (you will see it about halfway down the page). The first thing you should do is ring for a copy of the report.

Come back and ask if you have any questions.

Hi Neil
It looks like BIS's links have not worked.
Welcome to Benefits and Work
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
If you have any questions then do come back to the forum and ask, good luck with your MR.
