Pip phone assessment was created by whaha
Hi
I just had my pip assessment yesterday morning and it lasted almost 2 hours!
I forgot to come here to read the latest advice about the telephone assessment beforehand and did not record my assessment yesterday. Right now I am thinking to phone DWP up asking for a copy of the report and wondering when I shall do it? How long it generally takes for the assessor to send the report to the DWP? Many thanks!

Hi Waha
You can phone up for the report next week. They are supposed to take 48 hrs to be put on the system (but I think that means working days).
Just be warned that some people have found delays in them being put up - so keep on it if they tell you they are not there when you ring and don't let them fob you off with two weeks which some people have.

Thank you BIS!!
Just a quick update:
I received a copy of my report just now and unsuprisingly to read that I recived only 0-2 for all the activities on the form.
"Luckily" I think I'm still entitled to the Daily living - standard rate at the very least...
Honestly speaking I really cannot be bothered to appeal anymore, as long as I'm still be able to get some financial support from the govt.... Stress just becomes excessive and too much to deal with.
On the report the assessor suggested to DWP the PIP award should only valid for 1.5 years, although the assessor did confirm in the report my conditions will hardly improve, ever... I think this is the 2nd time I got only a 1.5 years award... But again not very suprising at all...
The DWP will usually start to review the claim one year before the award ends. Just wondering if this means that in another 6 months time I'd be having another round of assessment??.... Also just double check the award begins from the date the assessment completed, not the date we submitted the forms right? Really cannot take another pip assessment in few weeks times...
Any helps would be hugely appreciated!

If this was a reassessment then the new award will start from the day that the Decision is made, before the pandemic, the DWP was reassessing claims six months before they end but this has gone to pot since March, currently, they are extending awards but they have now started restarted reassessments.
