Hi magpiejoe08

Your ESA will stop when you reach state pension age: www.gov.uk/state-pension-age

Depending on your circumstances you may be eligible to claim pension credits: www.gov.uk/pension-credit

Hi Margo

I am not sure what your question is, are you able to give a bit more information.

If you are saying your state pension age is 66 then ESA will stop when you reach 66 years.

hello gary, yes that is what i meant, i receive contribution based esa, and i was born in june 1956 so it will 2022 when i reach state pension age, that will make me 66, i'm not sure what pension credits are, but if they replace esa does that mean that i am finished with dwp? thank you.
