Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
It is not whether you have a new condition but whether your limitations in regard to the PIP activities have changed.
I can't tell you that you do not need to contact the DWP but there are not usually bothered if a claimant does not inform them of a worsened condition.
Things to think about.
A worsened or new condition does not always mean that you will score extra points and even if you do that you will score enough for a higher award.
If you do report a Change then do so in writing, preferably using a Tracked post as the date of your letter should be used as the Start Date of any new award.
Reporting a Change will result in a new PIP2 which you will need to complete as if it is a new claim, you will need to submit evidence both or your new condition but also your original ones, even if it has been submitted before. The new Decision will supersede your existing award whatever it is.
