3 Month Wait for disability element UC was created by JJJ
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help.
My son receives UC and qualifies for the full disability element; it is accepted he cannot work or attend work-related activites.
The GP provided details of his disabilites and that he would not be able to work at the end of July in the Fit Note. We are now in November , over 3 months later and we are being told that he has to wait until December (4 months later) to get the extra payment. Does anyone have any information on the exact dates taken into consideration, because to me it's been the whole of August, September and October, so I don't see why he is not being paid this extra money in November?
