Carers allowance was created by brooksy
I have recieved a letter saying carers will be stopping even though we havent recieved a letter stating this from pip as my wifes filled ina claiming sept my carers ends on 27th november when my wifes pip ends is this a formal letter thanks

Hi Brooksy
You won't get a letter from the PIP department saying that the Carers Allowance will stop - it will only come from the Carers Allowance department. So yes, it is an official letter, but if you're concerned please phone them and check.

Thank you yes I know it was from the carers it's just would pip notify them first before they tell my wife ? Thank you

PIP Decision Letters can easily take 10-14 days to arrive so it is not uncommon for a claimant to receive notice from another department or even another agency before the claimant gets the letter.
I would ring the DWP office dealing with your wife's claim for an update.
