Hi, just FYI , and of course could be different in your case. Having managed to get a paper based assessment for our daughter due to Overwhelming Psychological Distress backed by a GP letter, I got the assessment report. This noted having contacted the GP in writing [?form] who had sent it back saying they could not answer this level of detail. Incidentally they had also tried to call two hospital consultants but given up quickly on not getting through. So ended up working with the evidence and claim form we'd sent anyway...I am sure they only tried all 3 after the conversation I had with the manager to confirm them doing a paper based review, so they sort of tried contacting them which they never have before on the first and second claim. Hope this helps, Denby
