Could someone please confirm how long the assessment people should give for an assessment to take place? I thought it was 7 days at least but wonder if it’s actually written anywhere - I saw it on the CAB website but cannot find written by dwp or assessment company
They are required by law to provide seven days written notice of an assessment although this includes postage so it could only be a couple of days, however, members have reported that this is not always happening for telephone assessments.
