Using a recording and other PIP questions

Hi,

I have a few questions about using a covert recording I made using my mobile phone of my PIP telephone assessment. I read on here it was ok to do as long as it was for my own use. If I have to do an MR which I think I may can I refer to it during this? If so do I have to provide them a cassette tape of the recording or a transcript? Or do I save that for appeal?

Should the assessor told me what his profession was? This is the first time I've not been told. He was nice but very pushy and it lasted an hour and 19 minutes. He asked the usual do you have pets and a mobile thing. He kept on going back to questions he'd asked I feel trying to push me to answer another way that would suit him turning me down. I just don't feel it went well.

Also I asked for the report over a week ago and haven't had it. Should I ring again?

You can mention the recording for an MR and could send a transcript, at least of the relevant section but don't bother with a copy of the recording, DMs do not review these even when they are made within their terms of reference.

The assessor should have given you their qualifications but this is not a legal requirement.

A week is not an unreasonable time for the report to take to get to you, if it has not arrived in Monday's post then I would ring again.
