hi there..i was to recieve a call for an esa assement last thursday at 3 pm,with a 30 window....i got all hyped up and was ready ,apart from getting my palpitations with worry....!....i never got the call,and by 4pm,,,,i have now recieved thier quick,,,,,letter to find ou why i wasnt available for the assesment?,,,,i sent the letter back explaining that the person did not call at 3pm,or the 30 minute window,,,,,does that mean i will be taken off esa automatically?,,,its my mental health.issues
I'm sorry this has happened to you. I'm afraid this is quite a common occurrence for them to say - they did phone when they didn't. If you're able to you need to contact them as soon as possible by phone and say you were there and nobody rang (as well as returning the letter). They are not just allowed to stop paying you - but I would still urge you to ring and find out what is happening.
