Hi all.
5 years ago, I was awarded PIP at the enhanced rate for the daily living component.
My "review" came up this year, and before the pandemic kicked off, I let the DWP know that there were no changes to my condition, aside from the fact my medication has been tripled.
Early October I receive a letter out of the blue giving me one week's notice for a telephone consultation, the call was fine, my wife was there to support me. I went into detail about things I can't do and what help I need etc.
Even though I've been on the benefit for 5 years, and nothing has changed, they awarded me zero points. It is a total joke, and on the form I received, the decision maker said they are aware I told them I can't do x, y & z, however he "has decided I can" wtf? Does he know something I don't? Obviously it is a laughable decision which I will be filing for an MR.
I kept my MR from 5 years back, and will be sending them a copy. They have a knowledged I told them I can't do these things, yet they have decided I can.
How can I prove I can't or don't do them? How can they prove me wrong? I was completely honest, and they have admitted I told them what my limitations are.
I am a subscriber here, so of course I'll use the the guides provided, but I just wanted to know if anyone is able to offer anything more?

I'm sorry this has happened. If you haven't already you need to ring the DWP and request the assessors report so you can understand the details of what they have said. The decision-maker normally follows the advice of the assessor.
The only way you can 'prove' is by medical evidence and reiterating what you have already told them!
You're right to send in the previous one and show that things have not improved.
