Phone call for ESA nurse assemnt without paper ass was created by Fliss13
I received a missed call this morning from a local number so I called it back. They said they were nurses from ESA assessments and had a spare slot for an assessment today. I was confused because I hadn't had any paperwork saying I'm up for a reassessment. They couldn't explain it either simply saying if they had my info then I must be. I'm on the phone to ESA currently to figure this out but has anyone had anything like this? Literally came out of the blue.

Hi Fliss13
I've heard of people being phoned suddenly for a slot - but not when they don't even know that they are due for a review. Even if you haven't received a review form you should have received a letter. Hope you are able to sort it out.

**UPDATE**
I got through to ESA and they said that I did fill in a paper form...in August 2019!! I just assumed since I didn't hear anything back then it has carried on the same (as that was printed on the paperwork) however apparently I've been waiting 16 months for an assessment that I knew nothing of. Makes total sense.
Also they told me on the phone that if you're in the unsporting group then you get reassessed every 2 years. Also makes sense *eyeroll*
Mystery solved, I guess.

Hi Fliss13
Thank you for the update, it shows that things can move slowly at DWP, you should get a minimum 7 days notice of an assessment, but that was prior to Covid-19, lots have changed since begining of March.
