I am 65 and have received Pip & ESA (support group) for several years. Last week I received a PIP review form to fill in and I have have done that and posted it but am now worried whether I will have to under go an assessment. I do not get my State pension til October 2021 but thought over 65's didn't have to suffer more assessments? Also do these rules apply to ESA?

I am sorry to disappoint you but you will still get assessed once you are over state pension age.
If you follow the link below it will tell you what you need to know about completing the PIP review.

If you are over state pension age and re-assessed, then you may receive an On-Going award which will be reassessed using a Light Touch review ten years later. We don't know what a Light Touch review will consist of as the first ones will not be done before 2023 at the earliest.
Your ESA will stop when you reach state pension age, depending on your circumstances you may be able to claim Pension Credit on top of your state pension. www.gov.uk/pension-credit

Thanks. Yes I did look at the guides before I filled in the form. I really thought the announcement by Amber Rudd in 2019 would have put paid to the nonsense of assessing older people who are not going to get better. I sometimes feel like giving up and just waiting for my pension but that would mean living on savings for 10 months. Us WASPI women have lost out in so many ways!
