pip review form was created by libran1962
hi
my pip review was due in in december but i was grateful to be granted an extension to fill it in as i was really struggling.
from this site i got direction to fill it in as if it were a pip renewal not just a review
amongst other things i have a rare condition plus since my last assessment injuries sustained in a car accident 3 yrs has caused more serious difficulties with some of the activities.(i realise its how it affects rather than conditions)
is now the time to cite these changes plus also try to get points on things i didnt last time even though i felt i was entitled to them back then? i was so grateful to be awarded i didnt challenge it.
also on the form there is so little space i am basing it on my previous pip application and putting it on extra sheets as before(numbered etc) but do i have to put any of the answer on the form then say continued as i feel it would be better just to put the whole of the answer on headed separate sheets and make this clear?
finally although i will try to make the answers as brief as i can there seems to be quite a few sheets to send plus evidence.will this be ignored if theres too much?im so anxious about all of this so any guidance appreciated as the final deadline is fast approaching
thank you so much for the continued support
kindest regards
suzanne

Hi Ibran1962

You don't have to put any answers on the PIP form if you don't want to.
You can put one sentence and then say "continued on page X" or you can choose not to put anything on the form accept to write in each box "See page X"

There is no right or wrong way to do this accept to be clear. Make sure your name and national insurance number is on every page.

If your condition has deteriorated - you should say so and make it clear what the impact is against the PIP criteria. You can also emphasise the points you didn't score for last time.

There is no rule about the number of additional pages. The number of pages for reviews tend to be shorter than the initial claim simply because you don't have to send all the same evidence that you might have done before. Add what you feel is right. Some people send nothing and I have known others to send thirty pages because they have a lot of new evidence. They are supposed to read everything you send in - just don't send in evidence they already have.
