Hello, please can you offer some advice. Last month, My daughter won a Tribunal decision which set aside a UC decision to close her case early last year. She does not know what happens next. Will the DWP reinstate her claim and inform her or does she now have to re-apply? Thank you.

Hi Wobbly legs

Your daughter needs to contact UC helpline: 0800 328 5644. The claim should be re-instated, as that is the decision of the Tribunal.

If she re-applies then she has to go through the 5 week waiting period and contact her work coach again.

Your daughter may need help from a local welfare rights worker or your local MP.
