Finding site rather hard to navigate/use/benefit from.
Hi everyone hope you’re keeping heads above water.
I’m due, like many to have PIP extended until July this year.
I’ve admired this site since being aware of its existence, I became diagnosed with illness in January 2011.
I’ve never figured out how to benefit from the site and desperate for some support on here.
Not sure how to reach out.
I received HR mobility from 2011 indefinitely along with MR carers DLA, also indefinitely.
When having to claim for PIP with progressive disease and with the help of CAB via the MS society I was able to obtain standard for both Mobility and daily living needs.
I felt I would at least get Enhanced for DLN’s but when considering appealing I was told I may lose out.
This was after requiring prescription for a powdered drink to help to gain weight as I’m not eating properly as forget to eat, but this is new evidence and it can’t be used.
Also my claim for being anxious wasn’t apparent at my home assessment.
Thing is the assessor made me feel not anxious as he seemed to know more of my illness than any GP I’ve ever met, but deceitful if you ask me.

Hi Dave
From your post I assume you are finding it hard to navigate around our site, don't let that put you off as I am still learning myself. If you are a member then the main part of the site to help you with your PIP claim is 'Members Only Guides' section which is on the left handside above Training.
When you were last assessed, did you ask for a copy of your assessors report, if not you still can before you are re-assessed, it is called a PA4. This report tells you how the assessor assessed you against the PIP criteria, you can also pick up any errors.
Have a look at our new PIP Claim guide which was released this month for a better understanding of the criteria you will need to meet.

If you have any specific question then please come back to the forum.
