Dear mods I am hoping you can help. I am and have been receiving esa for 10 years.
On 5 March I receive my state pension, do I have to notify diwp or does it transfer automatically
Hoping you can advise me. Rapheal

Hi rapheal

Your ESA will stop automatically when you reach State Pension age. Depending on your circumstances you may be entitled to Pension Credits: www.gov.uk/pension-credit

You can start your application for PC up to 4 months before you reach State Pension age.
