ESA and State Pension Age question was created by Tuliptrees
I am 64 years and 4 months. As a WASPI woman, I have been denied my state pension to 66 years. My question is will my ESA Support Group payment take me up to my state pension age. Or will there be a shortfall between its award and my state pension age namely November 2021 to September 2022?

Hi Margo

We cannot give you the answer to your question. ESA is an indefinite award with scheduled reassessment so there will be no end date or award length on the Decision Letter, if you have the assessment report then the "prognosis" is used to set the date, failing that contact the DWP office dealing with your claim, the reassessment date will be recorded on your computer record.
