PIP Extended letter was created by Barbara
I notified the DWP in September that my mobility had got markedly worse over the previous year. I was sent a form to fill in and return to them which I think was the same as a new application form as far as I could see. Their reply came today extending my award until 2024. I retire next April and I had hoped to get higher rate mobility as it would then continue into my retirement. I wonder if this is a deliberate ployby them to save money.

Hi Barbara

I have moved your post. We ask people not to ask questions on another person's post or it may lead someone to get the wrong answer.

I don't think it is a deliberate ploy on the part of the DWP. I think you have been sent out a standard letter that a lot of people are receiving. You may still find that you hear from them separately about your 'change of circumstances' ie - you worsening mobility.
